For the 2022 intake, Immigration, Refugees, Citizen Canada (IRCC) has invited 23,100 potential sponsors from the pool of 155,313 remaining potential sponsors who submitted an interest to sponsor form in 2020 for the Parent Grandparent (PGP) PR Program.
Between October 12 and 20, 2022, IRCC has invited potential sponsors to apply between Oct 12 an 20, 2022. You can check if you were invited using the tool below.
If you were invited to apply, IRCC must receive your application by the deadline shown on your invitation to apply letter. The deadline for submission is 60 days from the date of your invitation letter.
Please make sure you check your email to ensure that you don't miss the email by doing the following
Look for IRCC's invitation in the same email account you used to submit your interest to sponsor form in 2020.
Check your junk and spam folders for the invitation.
If IRCC couldn't send the invitation by email, IRCC sent it by mail to the address used to submit your interest to sponsor form in 2020. Check your mailbox.
You can also use go to IRCC website to check if you have received the invitation, if the tool states that you were invited , but you did not receive the invitation, you can ask for a copy of it using this online form. You should get an answer within 10 business days.
